CREATIVE DESIGNER
I have been scrapbooking since I was in grade school, keeping all
sorts of things from any event, ribbons, pins, tickets etc. I used to
tape them in an album and write notes about them and draw funny
pictures. Who would have known what I was heading towards. 5 years ago I had my second child and decided to be a stay at home Mom. Since then I've been shooting hundreds of photos and creating away! I also am lucky enough to work in a scrapping & stamping store so that I can supply myself with all the best vices. I am a Creative Designer for Murdock Country Creations and do other creative works as companies need. I designed the layout that Color Cutters uses for their National Advertising campaign and all their shows and have also done work for Crafty Secrets. I also teach several classes at the store where I work and other LSS. I love to work in all mediums and am constantly looking to put something new into what I am doing. Whether it's scrapbooking on the wall, altering clipboards or creating layouts of my children.
My husband just chuckles now cause he knows nothing gets thrown away, it might be ties from the kids toys to the filigree band around a
decorative bottle, it all waits for a final look-over before being
thrown out. Best part is he now helps do it. My family has finally
agreed that Mom needs her own space and has designed an awesome
creative room for me to work in. The sun shines brightly and all my
tools and loved ones are nearby. I call Central Maine my home.

I am so excited and honored to be part of Mermaid Tears. I have been married for 7 years to dh, Kevin and we have a son name Sean who is 4. I am also a pet lover and it is evident in the fact that we have 2 large dogs (German Shepherd and Great Dane) and 3 cats. We currently live in NW Ohio where I am a SAHM. I have my bachelors in biology which I really don't use it, except to check the mold count on our bread...kidding.
I have been scrapping for 3 years now I love every aspect of it! I consider my style to be a little shabby, a little graphic and very ecletic. I will or have had my work published in magazines/idea books such as BHG Scrapbooks etc, Scrapbook Trends, Memory Makers, PaperART, Scrap and Stamp Arts, Cantata Books, Jo-ann Scrap Essentials 2, upcoming NanC Idea books, and The Complete Idiots guide to Scrapbooking Projects. I look forward to working with the awesome Mermaid Tears products!!

 Tammy Tutterow |
DESIGN TEAM
Hi! My name is Tammy and I have been involved with arts and crafts in one form or another for as long as I can remember. My mother loved art and was a professional crafter during my childhood. This meant there were always plenty of arts and craft supplies in our home. I always felt that drawing, writing, and creating were a special refuge for me. By 2000 my mom had discovered scrapbooking and encouraged me to give it a try. I resisted, not because I didn't like it, but because I knew that if I got involved it would be all or nothing. I was right! I finally gave in and have developed such a stash that I require a whole room in the house just for scrapbooking!
My passion lies in making mini-books and altered projects. The thing I love about altered projects is that I can have them all through the home and be surrounded by my art and my photos all the time. I love making things as gifts. To me, handmade gifts are a true expression of thought and love. In my papercrafting I truly seek to include my heart with all that I create with my hands.
I have been blessed in my life with 3 beautiful children; Anna, Jacob and Emma. I am madly in love with my husband David, who is a police officer. In the working world I am a 9-1-1 Police, Fire, and EMS dispatcher. Besides scrapping, I enjoy gardening and reading. We live in Illinois, just outside of St Louis.

DESIGN TEAM
My name is Pam. I’m 31 and live in Tennessee, just south of Nashville. I have three wonderful kids. Katelyn, Keely and Cole. I have been married for 11 years to my wonderful husband Craig. I’m a SAHM but before that I worked in the medical field. But my one job that I could never forget about was when I was a Visual Merchandiser for a department store. That is where my love of design began.
I have really, over the last year, began to get back in full swing with my scrapping. But I started scrapping/altering about eight years ago. I was so hooked on the decorative edge scissors. And I cut everything! I think I have come a long way from those days. So my projects have evolved. They are art to me. I think my style is an organized chaos and a little eclectic. I love cooking, gardening, and painting. I am so excited to be on the Mermaid Tears design team!

Just recently I have taken my scrapbooking to the next level by working on a design team for an online community. As a result of being with this website I have sold several layouts to various vendors.
I am excited about being a part of Mermaid Tears newest design team. I created one of my favorite layouts using these unique products and look forward to creating even more designs.
